The Most Stylish Men of the 2016 Grammys

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards closed with the coveted "Album of the Year" honor going to Taylor Swift's 1989. While opinions on whether she deserved the win might spark heated debates (and trust me, I’ve got a few choice words I’ll keep to myself), let’s shift gears and focus on what truly stole the spotlight: the men who ruled the red carpet in style. Here’s GQ’s take on the most stylish gentlemen of the night:

Jack Antonoff

The guitarist from Fun. and co-writer of Taylor Swift’s “Out of the Woods” showed how to tone down the formal edge of a classic tuxedo. Opting for a mismatched jacket and trousers, paired with a crisp white shirt and polished leather shoes, Antonoff played it cool with a timeless black, white, and gray palette. Understated yet striking - nailed it.

The Weeknd

Commanding the stage and the red carpet, The Weeknd nailed the essence of masculine elegance in a perfectly tailored classic black tuxedo. Simple, sharp, and undeniably suave.

Mark Ronson

Not everyone can pull off a plain black t-shirt under a bold blue striped blazer, but Mark Ronson isn’t just anyone. The two-time Grammy winner for “Uptown Funk” proved once again that effortless cool is part of his DNA.

Leon Bridges

Soul singer Leon Bridges brought his signature flair, proving you can make a tuxedo anything but basic. Adding a boho-style tie and sleek chelsea boots, Leon’s look had just the right amount of personality to set him apart.

James Bay

The British crooner, born in 1990, is capturing hearts with his soulful voice - and turning heads with his style. James kept it artistic with a velvet dinner jacket, skinny trousers, suede chelsea boots, and, of course, his iconic wide-brim hat.

Beck

At 45, Beck continues to channel subtle rebellion in his style. Rocking a fitted skinny suit, he made it clear that rules are for breaking - case in point: letting his tie tails hang with effortless cool.

John Legend

Gucci embroidery, anyone? John Legend stole the spotlight in an embroidered blazer that oozed sophistication. Clean-shaven and polished, he reminded everyone that simplicity, done right, can be the ultimate power move.

Pharrell Williams

Pharrell doing Pharrell things, as always. The fashion icon mixed patterns, colors, and textures in true boundary-pushing style. Even at the Grammys, he stayed true to himself, donning a studded Chanel jacket, distressed jeans, and his adidas sneakers from his latest collab. Bold, fearless, and unapologetically Pharrell.

These gentlemen proved that fashion isn’t just about clothes - it’s a statement, a vibe, a mood. The Grammys may celebrate music, but on the red carpet, these stars were dressed to perform.
